Good morning and Happy Mother's Day to all of the dear mothers out there. May your day be filled with love , joy and blessings! ❤π€
Last night the grandsons and nephews had a sleepover here. Needless to stay they had a ball, and of course stayed up into the wee hours of the morning which is fine with this ole' grandma. ππ
Today we will all head over to Mom's for a delectable Mother's Day meal. I am not sure what is on the menu, but mama's cooking is always wonderful. π❤
I plan to take along this small flag quilt. I will put it in a hoop and hand quilt it as Mom and I chat the afternoon away.
Come evening time, I will continue to pull out my patriotic pieces and hopefully , find a new project to work on-- though I am not sure what right now.
Well, I will keep it short and sweet.
Love ya'! |
As Always,
Happy stitching and quilting, y'all
Melisa
I am joining these lovely ladies' link parties. I hope you check them out; they always have so many wonderful projects going on and provide the opportunity for other needle workers to meet.

In Spain, Mother's Day was last Sunday, always the first Sunday in May.
ReplyDeleteI wish you much happiness on this special day, and that you enjoy your family time.
Hugs from Spain
Enjoy time with your mother, that is so special. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteHappy, Happy Mother's Day. Enjoy the time with you Mom and the rest of your family. I love your flag - can't wait to see it quilted. Earlier this year I stitch several of your patriotic designs that need to simply be "finished". Need to work on that very soon. I don't remember stitching the hat with the lamb - need to find an afternoon to stitch that cutie. Hugs, Darlene J

i wish it would rain here. it is so dry. we are so low on our water table. perhaps we'll get some rain soon. i don't see any in the forecast, but you never know. mother nature may spring some rain on us. can you please send some our way?
i hope you have an awesome rest of your day sitting, chatting and quilting with mama is the best way to spend Mother's Day. i'll see my mom later this evening. i need to go grocery shopping for her today so, of course, i'll find something i need from the market as well.
blessings and love are on the way to you for an amazing Mother's Day. stay safe and enjoy one another making magical memories.
